Major Injuries Sustained in Concord Car Accident on Clayton Road and Highway 242
Concord, California (September 17, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major car collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Concord.
The two-vehicle crash took place at around 1:03 p.m. on the Clayton Road on-Ramp to southbound Highway 242.
According to the report, the vehicle involved a white 2005 Nissan Altima and a second car. The Altima rolled over in the collision.
Authorities said at least one person sustained major injuries in the collision.
Tow trucks were required to clear the collision scene.
An investigation into the accident is in progress.
