At Least 1 Killed in Compton Truck Crash on Highway 91 near Wilmington Avenue
Compton, California (March 23, 2020) – At least one person was killed after a truck collision on Sunday night in the area of Compton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at around 8:55 p.m. Sunday, March 22, on Highway 91 near Wilmington Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, a car and a truck crashed for reasons still under investigation. The vehicle was underneath the truck following the impact.
Deadly Crash on Highway 91 in Compton
Responding emergency crews declared one person dead as a result of the crash. The name of the deceased was not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
The crash led to the closure of lanes to give way to an on-scene investigation.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
