Colfax, CA: Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 80 Freeway
1 Injured in Colfax Car Crash on I-80 Freeway
Colfax, California (October 6, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision involving big rigs in Colfax on Monday evening, October 5.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:50 p.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway.
Cal Fire’s Nevada Placer Yuba division said seven vehicles including four big rigs were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One person suffered minor injuries in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
