Multiple Injured in Coalinga Car Crash on Jayne Avenue and Interstate 5

Coalinga, California (July 30, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol said multiple parties were injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday night in Coalinga.
The wreck occurred just before 9:00 p.m. on Jayne Avenue at Interstate 5.
As per the report, a gray Ford Mustang collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances. Both cars were blocking the roadway after the crash.
Authorities said the crash resulted in major injuries, and one of the vehicles had multiple injured parties in it. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.
The eastbound lane was blocked on the east side of Interstate 5 following the accident.
CHP is investigating the wreck.
