Driver Hospitalized after Coachella Crash at Cottonwood Springs and Box Canyon Roads Off-Ramp
Coachella, California (March 15, 2021) – One person was injured in a Sunday evening traffic accident in Coachella, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 9:38 p.m., on March 14, at the Cottonwood Springs and Box Canyon roads off-ramp from the westbound 10 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car rolled about 50 feet off the roadway for undetermined reasons.
Following the collision, the driver was trapped in the vehicle and was freed by the first responders.

The driver sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
