63-Year-Old Clovis Man Killed in Fresno County Motorcycle Crash on Lodge Road near Sierra High School

Fresno County, California (April 14, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic crash in Tollhouse Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol officials.
The deadly motorcycle crash occurred at about 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13 on Lodge Road near Sierra High School.
The CHP said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Lodge Road when he lost control on a curve and drifted into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane.
The rider was then struck by a passing truck.
Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Tollhouse, April 13
The motorcyclist, only identified as a 63-year-old Clovis man, died in the accident. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and complied with investigators. The driver told authorities that she didn’t have time to avoid him.
Motorists were diverted through the high school for multiple hours. The road was later reopened.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
