Christopher Younkers ID’d as Man Killed in Santa Paula Plane Crash near Wheeler Canyon Road
Santa Paula, California (July 26, 2021) – Authorities have identified the pilot who died when an ultralight glider crashed Friday evening near Santa Paula as Christopher Younkers, 58, of Ventura.
The crash happened at around 6:05 p.m. Friday, July 23, near the 6000 block of Wheeler Canyon Road.
The ultralight craft crashed into a remote area for unknown reasons.

Younkers was pronounced dead at the scene.
