Christine Gonzales ID’d as Woman Killed in Huntington Beach Pedestrian Accident on Talbert Avenue near Bell Circle

Huntington Beach, California (March 11, 2021) – The Orange County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday evening in Huntington Beach as Christine Gonzales, 69, of Huntington Beach.
The deadly accident happened at around 6:55 p.m. Saturday, March 6, on Talbert Avenue, just east of Bell Circle.
Authorities said Gonzales was attempting to cross Talbert Avenue when she was hit by a gray 2015 Nissan Murano that was heading westbound.
Gonzales was transported to a nearby trauma center, where she was listed in critical condition.
On Monday, Gonzales’s condition deteriorated, and she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, a 57-year-old Huntington Beach man, stopped at the scene and was cooperative, authorities said. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
