China Lake, CA: 7 Injured after US Navy Jet Crashes in Death Valley National Park

China Lake, California (July 31, 2019) – Seven people on the ground were injured after a Navy jet crashed Wednesday in Death Valley National Park, according to a local news source.

The accident happened east of Naval Air Weapons Station.

Authorities said the US Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Seven visitors, who were on the ground, sustained minor injuries following the crash. Their names and current conditions at this were not disclosed.

The condition of the pilot was not immediately disclosed.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
