San Bernardino, California (December 2, 2020) – Two children who were hospitalized after being involved in a suspected DUI car crash late Friday night in San Bernardino has been identified as Dallas Tarlton, 8, and 5-year-old Khamyil Tarlton.

The fatal two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 11:47 p.m., November 28, at Kendall Drive and University Parkway.

The mishap began when a Ford Mustang operated by 23-year-old Brandon Jaquez-Perez westbound on Kendall Drive, at a high rate of speed, failed to stop for a red light.

The Ford Mustang then collided with a Toyota Camry, operated by 31-year-old Tavea Tarlton, at the intersection of University Parkway.

San Bernardino DUI Car Accident Injures Dallas Tarlton and Khamyil Tarlton

Tarlton was declared dead at the crash site.

Four children riding in the Toyota were transported to an area hospital by paramedics for further aid. Elizah Tarlton, 4, and Farrow Tarlton, 2, died while undergoing treatment.

Dallas Tarlton and Khamyil Tarlton were treated for moderate to severe injuries.

Jaquez-Perez, a Bloomington resident, was later arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
