Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Chico Crash on Highway 32

Chico, California (May 4, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a motorcycle accident that left the rider seriously injured Monday afternoon in Chico.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 12:12 p.m. on the 2961 block of Highway 132, near Highway Motors Incorporation.
Reportedly, the female driver of a silver Ford Fusion pulled out and did not notice a black Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide on the road and hit it.
The impact cut the motorcycle into two.
First responders found the rider, the motorcycle, and the car blocking the roadway.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take the seriously injured rider to the hospital.
The wreckage was towed away. The car was also towed away with major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the incident.
