Major Injuries Reported after Chico Accident on Highway 99 and Cohasset Road
Chico, California (March 7, 2019) – Major injuries were reported after a three-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Chico, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 2:52 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, on Highway 99 and Cohasset Road.
As per the officials, three vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The cars were blocking both lanes following the accident.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the persons who suffered severe injuries as a result of the collision. One person was transported to Enloe Medical Center in Chico for treatment. The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to the scene to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
All lanes were opened as of 3:38 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
