Fresno, California (January 7, 2019) – 72-year-old Exeter woman was killed, and 58-year-old Cheryl Suydam-Taylor of Fresno was injured after a traffic collision Monday evening in the area of Fresno, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at around 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, on Chestnut Avenue.

As per the report, the Exeter woman was driving her 2013 Chevy Equinox west on Clayton Avenue when she drove through a stop sign and collided with 2005 Toyota driven by Suydam-Taylor north on Chest Avenue. The impact caused the two vehicles to crash into parked and unoccupied 2006 Mercury.

The Exeter woman suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by responding emergency crews.

Suydam-Taylor reportedly suffered a possible broken leg and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
