Corona, California (June 22, 2020) – Chain Arunritthirot has been identified as the motorcyclist who was struck and injured by a vehicle in Corona Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorcycle accident happened on the Interstate 91 Freeway, just west of the 15 Freeway at about 7:00 p.m. 

As per the report, Chain was riding his red and white motorcycle east along the interstate when a silver van operated by 25-year-old George Valentin in the same path rear-ended his bike.

Due to the impact of the collision, Arunritthirot was ejected and wrapped around the van’s bumper. Valentin continued driving until he slammed into a fence and fled on foot into a drainage wash.

George Valentin Arrested After Corona Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Collision on 91 Freeway

Arunritthirot reportedly landed some 200 feet away from the crash site in the middle of the interstate. He sustained injuries to his arms and legs following the mishap.

Valentin was later arrested for felony hit-and-run and taken into Robert Presley Detention Center on Saturday.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
