Cesar Perez Among 2 Brothers Killed in Winnetka Crash on Parthenia Street near Lurline Avenue
Winnetka, California (November 18, 2019) – Cesar A. Perez, 19, was among two brothers killed in a head-on collision that occurred early Sunday morning in Winnetka, according to the Los Angeles police.
The crash happened at about 12:55 a.m. November 17, on Parthenia Street near Lurline Avenue.
Police said a 20-year-old driving a 2007 Chevrolet truck westbound on Parthenia Street lost control and drifted into the eastbound side, where the truck collided head-on with an oncoming white van. The impact caused the truck to roll over and it struck two parked vehicles.
The three occupants of the truck were trapped in the wreckage.

Perez was among the two passengers in the truck. The two were killed in the crash.
It’s unclear whether the occupants of the van were hurt.
The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
The police are investigating the incident.
