Cerritos, California (March 13, 2021) – At least one person was severely hurt in a Cerritos crash that happened Friday night on Highway 91, according to the California Highway Patrol.

As per CHP, the incident occurred at about 9:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes at Studebaker Road.

A Chevrolet Camaro collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons.

The impact of the crash sent one of the cars about 20 feet down an embankment.

At least one person suffered severe injuries, as per the report. An ambulance was requested to take the victim to the hospital.

The Camaro’s right-front tire was broken and shoved into the vehicle.

CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
