Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver on Mitchell Road near Whitmore Avenue in Ceres
Ceres, California (September 30, 2020) – One person died after being hit by an alleged hit-and-run driver Tuesday night in Ceres.
Authorities said the fatal accident happened on Mitchell Road, just south of Whitmore Avenue.
A man, in his 50s, was struck by possibly a dark green Dodge Caravan on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The involved motorist did not stop after the wreck and fled the scene.
Fatal Ceres Pedestrian Accident Tuesday Night
Sadly, the man died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
Police are still gathering more evidence and information to locate the suspect.
