Celeste Turner ID’d as 1 of 2 Persons Killed in Wasco Car Crash on Highway 46 near Beech Avenue
Wasco, California (November 11, 2020) – Celeste Christine Turner, 20, of Delano, has been identified as one of the two persons who were killed in a two-vehicle accident on Monday morning in Wasco, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly accident happened at about 4:38 a.m., on November 9, on Highway 46, west of Beech Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda, driven by Turner, collided head-on with a BMW on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Turner was pronounced dead at the scene. The BMW’s driver, Alexi Jovani Murillo, 31, of Wasco, was flown to Kern Medical Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
Highway 46 was closed for about 3 hours due to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
