Minor Injuries Sustained in Castro Valley Motorcycle Accident on 580 Freeway at Redwood Road
Castro Valley, California (September 27, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in the area of Castro Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 2:42 p.m. Thursday, September 26, on eastbound 580 Freeway at Redwood Road.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles including a motorcycle crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed lane 1 and 2 following the crash. The lanes were opened as of 3:16 p.m.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
