Minor Injuries Sustained in Castaic Car Accident on 5 Freeway and Parker Road
Castaic, California (February 5, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in the area of Castaic, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 2:02 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, on 5 Freeway and Parker Road.
As per the CHP officials, a black truck hauling a boat and a Nissan Sentra crashed for reasons still under investigation. The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately available.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
