Man Injured in Casa De Oro Pedestrian Accident at Campo Road and North Granada Avenue
Casa De Oro, California (February 19, 2019) – A male pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Tuesday morning near an intersection in the Casa De Oro-Mount Helix area, according to authorities.
The crash occurred shortly before 5:50 a.m. near the intersection of Campo Road and North Granada Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was hit by a Volkswagen sedan for an unknown reason near the intersection.
The pedestrian was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego in unknown condition.
The driver of the Volkswagen sedan stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
Further details regarding the accident were not available, and the CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
