6 Injured, 2 Seriously in Carson Crash on Harbor Freeway

Carson, California (February 9, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday morning traffic accident that left six people injured, two seriously in Carson.
The major injury accident happened at about 8:10 p.m. on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, north of 223rd Street, near the Carson Street exit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a GMC pickup truck that was stopped on the right side of the freeway pulled into traffic at a slow speed and was struck by a Lexus sedan that caused the GMC to hit a Peterbilt semi.
Following the collision, a second crash occurred when a Honda Prelude that had stopped for the first accident was hit by a Ford Mustang. The crash impact caused the Mustang to lose control and crash into a Kia Soul, the CHP said.
6 Injured in Crash on Harbor Freeway
The driver of the Prelude and a passenger sustained major injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
Four other parties were also injured in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
