2 Hospitalized after Highway 28 Car Crash at Caledonia Cir in Carnelian Bay
Carnelian Bay, California (April 3, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized after a car crash that happened Thursday afternoon in Carnelian Bay, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision took place at about 4:05 p.m. on Highway 28 at Caledonia Cir.
As per the report, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Two people were trapped inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the victims. Both patients were transported to the hospital for treatment.
An unknown animal was also injured in the crash. The Animal Control Unit was requested to take custody of the animal.
Oil and other debris from the crash was filled in the roadway.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
