Carmichael Accident at Marconi and Root Avenues Injures One Person
Carmichael, California (March 24, 2021) – One person was hurt following a suspected hit-and-run accident at an intersection in Carmichael Monday afternoon, March 22.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at approximately 2:36 p.m. in the area of Marconi and Root avenues.
As per the dispatch, an individual in a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle at the Carmichael intersection near Apartment Complex under unclear circumstances.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and located a disabled scooter with broken wheels in the area.
Carmichael Collision Monday Afternoon
The victim, whose name was not immediately established, sustained unspecified injuries in the mishap.
Meanwhile, the involved driver escaped the crash site without rendering aid to the patient.
The intersection was shut down for unknown time.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
