1 Injured in Carmel-By-The-Sea Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Monastery Beach
Monterey County, California (January 10, 2021) – A motorcycle accident was reported in Carmel-By-The-Sea on Saturday afternoon.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 1 near Monastery Beach at about 2:33 p.m. January 9.
A gray Lexus sedan and a motorcycle were involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
The authorities who responded to the incident found the rider down on the roadway with unspecified injuries.
The rider was treated at the scene before being transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
