Minor Injuries Reported in Carmel By The Sea Crash on Highway 1 and Highway 218

Carmel-By-The-Sea, California (January 25, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning in the area of Carmel-By-The-Sea, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 1 and Highway 218.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. Airbags were reportedly deployed in one of the cars.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
