Man Hurt in Carlsbad Pedestrian Accident on El Camino Real
Carlsbad, California (February 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Carlsbad on Thursday evening, February 14.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred in the 7000 block of El Camino Real at about 8:35 p.m.
The authorities said the 36-year-old man had been standing in the street when he was struck by a Nissan operated by a 50-year-old man.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Nissan driver reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the pedestrian accident.
