Mendocino, California (September 18, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Covelo, Mendocino County, on Tuesday evening, September 17.
According to a local news source, the fatal motorcycle accident happened on Foothill Boulevard at Crawford Road at an unspecified time in the evening.
The authorities said 34-year-old Carlos Lopez Cruz was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he collided head-on with a Toyota 4-Runner driven by Steven N. Blake, 20, of Covelo.

Cruz, a resident of Covelo, died at the scene of the accident.
Blake is reported to have suffered minor injuries in the crash.
