Canyon Country, California (May 29, 2019) – A woman and a child were injured in a suspected DUI collision on Friday afternoon in Canyon Country, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The collision happened just after 5 p.m. May 24, on Soledad Canyon Road near Anne Freda Street.
Deputies said a Canyon Country driver was driving eastbound on Soledad Canyon Road at a high rate of speed when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle carrying a mother and a child.

The woman and the child were both taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The Canyon Country driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury.
The crash is under investigation.
