Pedestrian Hospitalized after Canyon Country Hit-and-Run Crash at Jakes and Palo Verde Place
Canyon Country, California (January 4, 2018) – A pedestrian was hospitalized Thursday night after an alleged hit-and-run accident at an intersection in Canyon Country, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at around 9:25 p.m. Thursday, January 3 in the area of Jakes Way and Palo Verde Place.
Authorities said for an unknown reason the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near the intersection. The driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian left lying down on the road after the crash. The victim was then rushed to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. The name of the patient and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
