Motorcyclist Injured in Campbell Crash on Highway 17 near Hamilton Avenue On-Ramp Thursday morning
Campbell, California (August 25, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Campbell, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck, which was reported at around 7:55 a.m. Thursday, August 22, happened on Highway 17 near the Hamilton Avenue on-ramp.
As per the CHP report, a Jeep Liberty collided with a motorcycle on the northbound side of Highway 17 for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist lying down in the No. 1 lane. The bike ended up in the center median after the crash.

The rider sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by the paramedics. It was immediately unclear if the patient was taken to a hospital for further medical treatment.
The Nos 1 and 2 lanes were shut down following the crash. The roadway was reopened half an hour later.
The crash remains under investigation by the authorities.
