Camarillo Man Hurt in Camarillo Motorcycle Accident on Las Posas Road near Hueneme Road
Camarillo, California (October 25, 2019) – A 43-year-old motorcyclist, a Camarillo resident, was seriously hurt in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck Thursday morning in Camarillo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle accident happened at about 7:10 a.m. October 17 on Las Posas Road, south of Hueneme Road.
The CHP said the male party riding a 2013 BMW motorcycle south on Las Posas crossed into the northbound lane, attempting to pass vehicles traveling in the southbound lane.
He then crashed into the side of a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 42-year-old man, also from Camarillo, who was turning left into a driveway from the southbound lane.
Due to the impact, the victim was ejected from his bike.
43-Year-Old Man Struck and Severely Hurt by Car in Camarillo
The motorcyclist was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
The driver of the pickup was not injured in the crash.
The investigation is still ongoing.
