Calvin Green ID’d as Man Killed in San Jose Car Accident at Almaden Expressway and Branham Lane
San Jose, California (May 6, 2020) – The man who was killed in a three-car crash on Sunday morning in San Jose has been identified as Calvin Wayne Green, 70, of San Jose, according to authorities.
The fatal crash transpired at about 12:13 a.m., on May 3, at the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Branham Lane.
A 2004 Hyundai Tiburon, driven by Green, was traveling westbound on Branham Lane while a 2006 Nissan Murano, driven by Lawrence Martin, 32, was heading northbound on Almaden Expressway, the police said.
The two vehicles reportedly collided at the intersection after the Nissan failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection.
Following the crash, the Hyundai crashed into a 2019 Tesla that had stopped at the intersection.

Green was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tesla driver was not hurt in the crash.
Martin, who was later booked into Santa Clara County Jail for vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life- threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
