Calvin Everhart ID’d as Man Killed in Ridgecrest Truck Accident on Highway 395 near China Lake
Ridgecrest, California (July 24, 2020) – The man who died in a traffic accident involving two trucks early Thursday morning in Ridgecrest has been identified as Calvin Everhart, 53, of San Fernando.
The deadly collision happened at about 2:10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, on Highway 395, just south of China Lake Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Everhart was driving his truck on Highway 395 when, for unknown reasons, he collided head-on with a big rig.

Everhart was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the big rig was transported to Kern Medical with major injuries.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
