Calistoga Pedestrian Accident on Highway 29 Sends One to Hospital

Calistoga, California (December 30, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision Monday Morning in Calistoga, a local news source reported.
The 9:40 a.m. pedestrian accident took place on Highway 29, just north of Tubbs Lane, on December 28.
The accident happened when a big rig hauling crushed cars lost control and rolled over in the morning hours. A car then slammed into the rear of another vehicle as a result of the first collision, and its driver got out.
The rear-ended automobile reportedly turned around and traveled in the opposite direction, where it struck the man standing on the freeway.
Calistoga Pedestrian Crash Monday Morning
The male driver was hospitalized at Adventist St. Helena Hospital with minor injuries.
The wreck resulted in the closure of the roadway in both directions until early afternoon.
