Calipatria, California (January 3, 2019) – One person died in a pedestrian accident that happened Wednesday evening in Calipatria, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 7:53 p.m. on Beal Road near Slab City.
As per the CHP report, a pedestrian was struck by a white Chevrolet Silverado Dooley pickup truck for unknown reasons.
The victim died in the accident.
There were no other details available.
CHP is investigating the accident.
