2 Men Killed, 7 Injured in Calexico Car Crash on Highway 111 near Cole Road
Calexico, California (September 27, 2019) – Two men were killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Calexico, according to the authorities.
The crash took place in the 2300 block of Highway 111 near Cole Road on Saturday, September 21.
According to a local news source, a car was traveling northbound on Highway 111 when the driver lost control and drifted into the southbound side, colliding with three other cars.

The driver of the northbound car and a passenger in one of the other vehicles were killed in the crash. Their identities were not immediately released but authorities said one of them was a 32-year-old man and the other a 42-year-old man. The driver killed was also a Calexico resident.
Seven people were left with unknown injuries.
Speed was suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
