Caleb Collins ID’d as Deputy Seriously Injured in Turlock Motorcycle Accident at West Main Street and S Tully Road

Turlock, California (June 26, 2020) – Caleb Collins has been identified as the deputy who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Thursday morning in Turlock, police said.
The deadly crash transpired at about 7:00 a.m., on June 25, at the intersection of West Main Street and S Tully Road.
Collins was approaching the intersection when a pickup truck made a left turn and crashed into his motorcycle, the authorities said.
As a result of the collision, Collins was ejected onto the roadway.

Collins was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The pickup driver, David Arthur Rolland Buhrmann, 33, of Turlock, remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
