2 Injured in Angels Camp Crash on Highway 4 near Hunt Road
Calaveras County, California (November 28, 2019) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision that occurred near Angels Camp in Calaveras County on Wednesday evening, according to the authorities.
The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m. November 27, on Highway 4 near Hunt Road.
CHP said two vehicles were involved in the crash, which caused one of the vehicles to travel off the side of the road and it overturned into a ditch. One person was pinned in the overturned vehicle.
2 Injured in Angels Camp Two-Vehicle Crash
The pinned party was freed from the vehicle and transported to a hospital with major injuries. A second person was also transported by ambulance to the hospital.
One of the vehicles was towed from the scene.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
