Cajon Pass, California (July 20, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday morning in Cajon Pass.

The crash, which was reported at around 6:15 a.m., happened on the 15 Freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road and involved at least ten vehicles.

Authorities said the sun made it difficult for motorists to see the previous accident, leading to additional collisions.

It was immediately unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.

A SigAlert was issued blocking four northbound lanes. There was no estimate for when the lanes would reopen.  The collision snarled northbound traffic through the Cajon Pass.

The crash remains under investigation.
