3 Persons Injured in Cactus City Accident on Interstate 10 near Frontage Road
Cactus City, California (December 12, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning traffic accident that left three people injured in Cactus City.
The accident occurred at about 7:56 a.m. on Interstate 10, west of Frontage Road near the Cactus City rest area.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two semi-trucks collided on the roadway for undetermined reasons.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles, the officials said.

The extricated party sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Two other persons sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
