Cabazon, California (March 1, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Sunday afternoon in Cabazon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The three-car crash occurred at about 12:14 p.m. on Railroad Avenue, just a mile east of Main Street.

A black Ford F-150 and two Jeeps collided, blocking the roadway.

Cal Fire and CHP officers responded to the scene to find a female party with minor injuries. The patient was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.

All vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.

CHP is investigating to establish the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
