Bruce Dilworth Killed in Boyle Heights Pedestrian Accident on Santa Ana (101) Freeway at Whittier Boulevard
Boyle Heights, California (February 24, 2021) – The victim who died after being struck by a suspected hit-and-run motorist in Boyle Heights Tuesday morning has been identified as 65-year-old Bruce Dilworth.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported at about 6:45 a.m. on Santa Ana (101) Freeway at Whittier Boulevard.
A vehicle heading north on the interstate hit Dilworth under unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, the involved motorist fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

Sadly, Dilworth died in the wreck.
Officials shut down one lane of the freeway for more than one hour.
The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
