Visalia, California (May 13, 2019) –29-year-old Briseda Herrera has been identified as one of the victims killed in Visalia traffic crash Monday morning, according to Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

The fatal crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. May 12, on Highway 63 and Avenue 336.

The California Highway Patrol report indicated that the crash involve two cars and semi-truck. The precise circumstances that lead to the occurrence of the fatal accident are still under an active investigation. Due to the impact of the collision, the two cars ended up trapped underneath the 18-wheeler. The collision also caused fuel to leak into the roadways.

Briseda Herrera and another involved party in the car were trapped under the truck and pronounced dead at the scene following the accident.

The roadway was closed at the intersection as officers conducted the investigation. No more details were released regarding the collision.
