Bridgeville, California (May 15, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a traffic accident that happened on Highway 36 near Little Larabee Creek, east of Bridgeville on Friday morning, according to the CHP.

The incident happened on the highway at mile marker 25.69 at around 8:55 a.m. May 14.

According to the report, a semi collided with a delivery van on the highway and the impact caused the semi to flip over.

The big rig spilled oil and logs onto the roadway.

Injuries Reported in Bridgeville Collision

The driver of the semi was extricated from the vehicle.

A helicopter was requested for one patient.

The number of the injured parties and the extent of their injuries were not released.

The eastbound side of the highway and part of the westbound side were blocked as crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
