Petaluma, California (May 10, 2021) – The Petaluma Police Department has arrested a man following a DUI crash that injured one person at an intersection in Petaluma, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at around 8:53 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at the intersection of Bodega Avenue and Webster Street.

According to the police, Brian Kane, 49, of Petaluma, was driving a 2016 white Chevrolet pickup in the area when he allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a black 2019 Hyundai that was heading westbound.

After the collision, the Hyundai spun out of control and drove up on the sidewalk while the Chevrolet slammed into a traffic signal pole.
