60-Year-Old Brentwood Man Killed in Orinda Car Crash on Highway 24 near Wilder Road

Orinda, California (March 11, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday morning traffic accident that killed a 60-year-old man from Brentwood in Orinda, Contra Costa.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened at about 5 a.m. on Highway 24 at Wilder Road off-ramp.
The CHP said a red Ford Ranger, driven by the Brentwood man, veered off the roadway of the off-ramp, overturned. The roof of the Ford slammed into a metal light pole.
Man Killed in Highway 24 Crash
Sadly, the Brentwood man sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
