Rider Hospitalized After Brentwood Motorcycle Crash at Sunset Road and Byron Highway
Brentwood, California (November 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision in Brentwood last week on Thursday evening.
The Motorcycle crash, which was reported at around 5:37 p.m. November 7, occurred in the area of Sunset Road and Byron Highway between Penny Lane and Eagle Lane.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, a gray Volkswagen SUV and a motorcycle collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Brentwood Car and Motorcycle Accident
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by fire department officials along with the paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.
The unidentified patient was then rushed to the hospital for further medication.
The crash resulted in the closure of Byron Highway for an unknown time.
It was not mentioned whether or not the SUV driver stopped after the crash and cooperated with authorities.
The investigation is underway.
