Anaheim, California (October 17, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Anaheim, authorities said.

Brandon Kimura, 34, has been identified as the man who was killed in a six-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Anaheim, according to the Orange County coroner.

The deadly multi-vehicle accident occurred at about 11:19 a.m. on northbound Euclid Street at Santa Ana (5) Freeway.

According to the police, a vehicle driven by a woman rear-ended another car on the roadway, causing a six-vehicle collision. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.

Kimura, a passenger in the rear-ended car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman was hospitalized in unknown condition.

Traffic on all southbound and northbound lanes of Euclid between Lincoln Avenue and the 5 Freeway was stopped for at least three hours due to the accident.

An investigation into the collision is underway.
