62-Year-Old Homeless Man Killed in Boyle Heights Pedestrian Crash on Grande Vista Avenue

Boyle Heights, California (June 21, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday night hit-and-run accident that killed a 62-year-old homeless man in Boyle Heights.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 10:46 p.m., on June 20, at 1606 S. Grande Vista Avenue.
According to the police, the male pedestrian was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
